About me

As a shy and timid fifth grader, one of my favorite activities was writing short stories for the class to read.

 

I think that might’ve been the first sign that I’ve always been a writer at heart.

 

I was born and raised on the lovely island of Aruba and moved overseas to Amsterdam at seventeen. I’m still based in Amsterdam to this day, and it’s the city where I’ve set all of my first and foundational steps in my career.

 

Along the way, I’ve edited manuscripts, written top-performing newsletters, and ghostwritten for high-achieving business owners. I’m a wordsmith with a strict(ly playful) sense of style. I write for a variety of different clients and companies, and I’m wonderful at turning complicated subjects into engaging stories.

My favorite part about my job is not just that I get to work on tons of cool projects (which is amazing, I admit), but that I get to solve problems for people while doing what I love. Good copy should never feel boring, confusing, or overwhelming. It should feel effortless, fun, and simple. Whether I'm simplifying a jargon-heavy website or editing messy copy, the goal is always the same: help people say what they mean.

Outside of work, I'm usually wrapped up in a good book, binge-watching my favorite show, or cuddling with my cat, Mo.
